Tiny Tots in Tiaras and Tuxedos

My current project is a gripping biography about Kermit Bland Hill, a pioneering African American woman, with the foresight to start a daycare, Tiny Tot Nursery School, at the beginning of the Baby Boom Era and turn it into a successful business lasting 60 years.  

Her biography follows Kermit’s journey from her roots in segregated Little Rock, Arkansas to CEO of a St. Louis, Missouri corporation, worth about $2,470,500 today, providing child care from six-weeks-old to after-school age in three locations.
